Pluck - Video Notes to Notion ("we," "us," or "our") is a browser extension designed to help you capture, annotate, and sync YouTube video frames and notes directly to Notion.

We believe your data belongs to you. This Privacy Policy outlines our minimal approach to data handling. In short: we do not collect, store, or track your personal information on our servers.

1. Information Processed Locally

Pluck operates entirely within your web browser. We do not maintain databases of your notes, credentials, or browsing habits. To function, the extension processes the following information locally on your device:

• Connection Data: The security keys required to authorize the connection between the extension and your Notion workspace.
• Content Data: The notes you type, the screenshots you capture, and the context of the YouTube video you are actively viewing (such as titles, captions, and timestamps).
• App Preferences: Your selected Notion databases and a brief history of your recent notes to help you pick up where you left off.

Where it lives: All of this information is saved solely on your personal computer, inside your browser. It is never uploaded to our servers.

2. How Your Information is Used

Pluck uses your local data exclusively to provide its core service: formatting your notes and sending them directly from your browser to your personal Notion account. We do not monitor your activity, we do not read your notes, and we do not sell your data.

3. Third-Party Platforms

Pluck acts as a direct bridge between your browser and third-party platforms. We are an independent tool and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Notion Labs Inc. or Google LLC (YouTube).

• Direct Transfer: When you use Pluck, your notes and screenshots are transmitted directly from your device to Notion.
• Third-Party Policies: Because Pluck interacts with YouTube and Notion, your data is subject to the privacy policies of those respective companies.
• No Liability: We are not responsible for how YouTube or Notion manage, store, process, or protect the data on their platforms.

4. Managing and Deleting Your Data

Because your data never touches our servers, you retain absolute, immediate control over it at all times:

• Clear Extension Data: You can instantly erase all connection data, preferences, and history from your device by clicking "Log Out" within the Pluck extension, clearing your browser data, or simply uninstalling the extension.
• Manage Your Notes: Any content you have already synced can be edited or permanently deleted directly inside your Notion workspace.
• Revoke Access: You can permanently sever the extension's connection to your workspace at any time via your Notion account settings.

5. Limitation of Liability

Pluck is provided by an independent developer on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

Because we do not host your data and have no control over the security of your personal device or the third-party platforms you connect to, we accept no liability for data loss, data breaches, or security incidents. We are not responsible for disruptions caused by changes to YouTube or Notion, or if your personal computer is compromised.
